In 2015, Heineken decided on an international level to sponsor the Europa League. However, as the Dutch company already sponsors the Champions League with its main brand, a local brand is chosen in each country to take on this commitment. In Switzerland, this is Calanda. A Grison beer and soccer? That can't be right, can it?

CREATIVITY

No, it can't. There's nothing we can do about that. And no one admits that more readily than Calanda itself. With the "Clueless Sponsor" campaign, the traditional Grison beer became the first sponsor in the world to openly say: "We have no idea what we are sponsoring here - but we wish you lots of fun anyway".
